Preliminary Announcement
This year PROUD are going to the pantomime on Sat 28th January ( 2.30pm ) which is Jack and The Beanstalk
This year we are going to to the pantomime at Aldridge Youth Theatre
If you wish to go to the pantomime we are asking for a £5 per person returnable deposit ( Please note PROUD will only pay for a maximum of 2 adult tickets ) which needs to be paid at latest at the christmas party
These tickets sell out very quickly so please do let us have the deposit ASAP ( either November’s meet up or December christmas party at latest )
Sat 2nd July Meet up at Chasewater Country Park WS8 7NL
Meet and play session at Chasewater Country park by the Vistors centre any time from 11am onwards
The idea is to bring a picnic and meet up with other families. there is a park there for the children to play on and at the far end of the park ( you can either chose to walk or drive to the car park ) there is a steam railway and train trips if you want to go and see that. There is a cafe on site and a shop at the Visitors Centre. If you want to walk around the park ( It is about a 3mile walk all around the lake ) there are also deer to spot
Free entry into the country park and there is a large car park There are picnic benches or you can take our own chairs and picnic rugs
There is also a running event on where people are running, all of the runners have made a donation to PROUD to take part in the event which consists of relays, a half marathon and a marathon
Jo Yarnall is also celebrating her 100th Marathon at this event and a presentation from the 100 Marathon club is taking place about 4.30pm

We are going to Jump Nation based at Walsall but due to the lady who took original booking having now left, we have been told we have to book in as individuals so if you want to come along to the trampolining this is what you need to do

There is also a risk Acknowledgement and waiver form which needs to be signed, they have given me some of these to bring home with me so I will fill them out ( again I’ve taken a photo of it so hopefully you can see it to read it ) I can fill out details to save some time on the day

I found them very helpful today when I went and they really would love to help us and see our group there and the deputy manager who I dealth with has a child with autism so she believes on giving every child a chance to bounce

Camping Trip
Our next meet up is the camping trip
We have 2 dates for the camping trip, the original date is 19 – 21 June ( some people can’t make that date so we are having a 2nd date ) 5 – 7 June
If you would like to come along for the day you are most welcome ( There is a small charge for day visitors – £5 per car )

There is a cafe on site if you don’t fancy cooking yourself. There are also a childrens play area, bouncy castle, tractor rides and other activities on site
If you want to go on the weekend, Please ring Golden Valley, quote which weekend you want to go, whether you are staying in a tent, caravan or trailer tent, or motorhome and they will take a £20 deposit off you, you will need to say if you want electric hook up or not and how many adults, children and how many cars you are are in ( and if you have a dog )
